they're all wasted

A new oldie up for sale on Etsy. Take a look HERE.

It seems crazy that I made this drawing four years ago. I remember drawing it so vividly. I remember I was watching The Who at Glastonbury and wishing I was there. I love looking at a drawing and seeing all those memories.

I love looking at this drawing even without the associated memories! ;-) What an amazing subject. That would never occur to me.

I love it! And the idea, too. One of thee nice things - and sometimes problematic things - about being an artist is not wanting to waste things which seem so beautiful to us, so we collect them and we collect more and more. One day I will use this or that. And, eventually, we do :-) .. meanwhile, space and the obession is an issue!

Andrea, you're my hero. Seriously. I've been in a funk lately, having trouble coming up with stuff to draw and then I came upon this lovely drawing of pencil shavings, of all things. Thanks for the inspiration!

Thanks guys.

Yes, I know about not wanting to throw anything away And, space most deinitely becomes an issue. That is why I now only collect very small things!

Karen, I too was in a funk for a couple of moths back there. Finally feel like I'm on the other side of it now because I just want to draw draw draw!

Cheers, ladies.
