buttons reloaded

So this may be a bit of overkill on the button front, but I've been working on a piece for an upcoming exhibition. I had originally intended to enter my 'chips' picture, however, I tried reworking it but it just wasn't happening. So it was back to the drawing board and as I really enjoyed drawing the original buttons picture, last weekend, I decided to go with that.

I thought you'd ditched the loveheart button and my own heart sank - then I spotted its new hiding place! At first I wondered if I didn't prefer it where it was before, but on comparing the two I think the new placement might just be genius. :-)

Framed like this, it's just amazing. I think this is one of the most beautiful things that you've done. And that i've seen.

Wow thank you all.

I've had a bit of a mixed week - a couple of confidence knocks and you begin to wonder if this is the right road for you. These lovely comments really have given me a boost! So thank you.

I prefer the composition of this drawing to the last sketchbook one.

EJ - I felt the position of the loveheart button in the last drawing was a little (actually a lot) contrived. I think it's better where it is.

Cheers guys, it means a lot.

Fantastic stuff. I've been admiring your blogg for some time, and it's fascinating seeing your Molskine picture translate so well into an exhibition piece. You deserve every success. Good luck.

Congratulations Andrea. Your work is phenomenal! I'm so sorry that our next and last visit to London will begin several days after the Mall Gallery Show ends. Would love to have seen it in person!

Since I knew of EDM less than two months ago, I spend when possible some time wandering on the old posts. I've stopped here on your buttons but I cuold have stopped everywhere, I'm really astounded!
