kings of the mountains
Here's some of the chimney pots on our row of houses. I love chimney pots, they have so much character. Plus, with houses as old as ours, the pots have been added and replaced over the decades (centuries even) so that every chimney is different from it's neighbour.

Great chimney pots Andrea, I haven't been back to Derbyshire for 8 years and I must say they're making me a bit homesick (in a good way)
That's so cool! They all look very medieval :3
when I was in England recently, I wondered what all those clay structures were that popped out of all the chimneys. Hah. We have squirrel cages on top of our chimneys to keep intruders out. Love the sketches.
Ooh they are beautiful Andrea, I like the colour ones, they have a shiny ceramic feel to them! Brill. Chimney pots are a good subject.
These are charming; well done!

I LOVE these. The way they are special on their own with no roof. Also the shading on the colour ones.
Well, we can't be expected to draw in the wind can we?
After all it's "plein aire" not "plein winde".
Nice job on the outdoor chimney pots :-)
a little history—a touch of function & ritual—like crowns atop of our living spaces—charming sketches

Great drawings. Comfort of your chair... why not?!
Beautiful, as always, Andrea. We don't have chimney pots here, so this s a real treat. :-)
Thanks, so much guys.
I keep seeing charismatic chimney pots everywehere I go now!
