forget myself

My last post found me extolling the virtues of illustrated endpapers...

...when it struck me that I now have some endpapers of my own...

...not only endpapers, of course, a whole book, but at the moment we are just talking about endpapers...

...it also got me thinking that not only do I love endpapers...

...but I love a good flyleaf too...
...and you know, I might be blowing my own trumpet here...

...but I think that my endpapers are pretty lovely and my flyleaves look non too shabby either.

I adore your spool of thread endpapers! (I love drawing, so I love all your art.) I also love your brightly colored work like the stack of pajamas!

Thanks, folks.

I must stress that at the moment the book is only out in Italian (as I have worked with an Italian publisher). An English version will not be available until the New Year.

Brendan, no sepia ballpoint - a Pilot fineliner, and no specific blue ballpoint - I use all sorts of brands Bic, Pilot, Papermate etc.

Cheers, my dears.

BLOW THAT TRUMPET GIRLFRIEND. Your work is so freakin' gorge.

As an aside, I tried to encourage the use of "blow your own vuvuzela" during the world cup. It did not catch on.

But the main focus of this comment is that you have more talent than I have sass. And that's a fair amount.

None too shabby indeed! Will there be an English/UKian version of the book as well as this Itallian version?
