my little box at the top of the stairs

If I'm honest this isn't actually my little box. I've also taken to drawing other people's souvenirs in my quest to fill my travel themed Moleskine. This box of crap, I mean beautiful collection of memorabilia, accompanied my friend Tim home from his world travels. I am a big fan of tat and have wanted to draw this for the longest time.

Actually I've probably wanted to use this blog post/drawing title for even longer than I've wanted to draw his little box, so to speak.

Awwwww, I love that mixed in with collectibles from all over the world, is a little snoopy figurine like I had as a little girl. You've drawn it so beautifully (as you always do). I'm glad I can see them for free... thank you!

This is mad in the best sense of the word; it's also beautifully done, as usual. Great job, Andrea.

well, i always leave complimentary comments and i'm sure you're tired of seeing those, lol. but really, what more can one say except WOWZERS! i love your drawings that are full of details like this box, just so much fun to look at.

and i can't wait for your next molezine. i have the first 2 and i've given them as gifts as well. everyone is just awestruck by your talent. i love your posts, including the ones about "the book" ... great stuff, even if i don't comment on each and every one.

hugs and much appreciation from me, over across the pond ;)

Blimey! you make the mundane, marvellous! I completely forgot about the owl being not what it seems, the letter on a snailshell and the 'pendant' celebrating the total eclipse. Thank you so much for drawing them all. (maybe now I can have a clear-out!)x

All the little things in the box are so delightful. I carry your little book which we exchanged with me and I enjoy looking through it all the time.
