with a sleeping roll

Another from my new travel journal. I'm not sure how I feel about this one. It's not quite as all singing all dancing as some of the other spreads in the sketchbook but sometimes I think you need the quieter moments. I see these kind of drawings as the commas in a sentence. A moment to pause for a second.

The handwriting's pretty rubbish to be honest, but corrugated cardboard is a new texture on me. Oh well back to the drawing board.

Haha. Yeah, Diane, I've just got a bit of a backlog with my mail but it looks fine. I'll email you back. Promise!

what a cool little cooking thing-is that a bell on the end which rings when the potato is soft?

hey! I love the drawing and the use of corrugated cardboard. I have thin hips and flat buttocks, and I often use such a simmilar piece of folded cardboard to place under my belt it helps to keep my pants up, cause over time the leather stretches one size out that fits, and my pants start to fall off, so I use it as an inbetween : P

Cheers folks.
Chelle, is that a true story? You use cardboard!

Sure I don't lie, as a matter of fact I've got one under my belt right now, I'm a primitive person : )

I should get some suspenders but I don't like the weight on my shoulders.

Haha. I'm sorry for doubting your story!
