the spider of time
I think I have found the cure for the drawing bug that's been going around. What you need to do is go to the hospital. Really. That's what I did this week. I went to the hospital. Cardiff Children's Hospital to be precise. It is the first, and only, children's hospital in Wales. I donated a couple of drawings, this is one and you can see the other HERE. Just to be a tiny little part of this amazing place makes me feel a whole lot better. Or is that humbled?

Andrea, you've managed to climb several notches up my "Fab People I Know" list (and you're already WAY up there!). What an inspiration you are! YOU ROCK GURL!!!!
What a great idea. Thanks so much for passing it on.
Yes, now that's inspiring. As i am contemplating different ways to spend this summer, what your doing kicks all my ideas' asses.
The framing is perfect for your work here, Andrea.
what a fantastic and inspiring idea andrea!!! I'm speechless, and also on my way to google the local hospitals.
That's a great idea! Think of the happiness/inspiration you'll bring to the children who see your work.
This was like a big explosion of happy. I love the clock. Then I read the post and if possible, I think I love you a little more than yesterday (in a totally non-stalker way)
Hey thanks, folks.
I've been meaning to donate to a hospital for ages. The dragon picture had such a Welsh theme, it just seemed to fit perfectly with the children's hospital.
Thank you all for the very touching words. It was no stretch for me though, you know, these drawings ae all just sat in a box here at AJ HQ. I' just pleased to have this opportunity and thank the guys from the Noah's Ark appeal for that.
That's very admirable!
What a lovely and generous gift to give them! A beaut idea to inspire many of us who just push those pictures into a box somewhere - for a rainy day!
What a lovely gesture, Andrea. x
Andrea, that dragon with the rainbow! Serendipitous? To me this means that God Himself left a comment. ;-)this amazes and inspires me.
I like your style! Great artwork. I've got to check out more of what you've done.
Oh my gosh... we have a children's hospital here in Seattle... I never even thought of donating a drawing. Or a framed photograph. I really want to do it now... thanks so much for inspiring me!
