Well, hello folks.
A quick catch up here, as I have limited time online. I just wanted to say thanks for all the messages and kind words. I am not up and running, as far as internet access is concerned, quite yet. I'm not sure when I'll be 'back to normal' but it's going to be a little while longer, for sure. It's been difficult to keep up with my mail too, so please bear with me.
You know, not being online so much has been crazily frustrating, but at the same time extremely refreshing. I have so much more time - but where the hell do you turn when you really need to know what else the bloke who plays Cousin Andy, from the Larry David Show, has been in? For example.
I am drawing loads, and in that respect, being offline has come at a good time. I am currently working on something that I've been dying to tell y'all (yes, I'm bilingual) about. But I don't know if I'm allowed to, yet. I've been sworn to the official secrets act. But a clue is 'book'. And another is 'juvenilia'. And, if you insist, the last clue I am giving you it's by a very very famous broad. That's it. I ain't telling you another thing. Get Googling.
Lastly, not leastly, a message to everyone who has pre ordered Molezine 2. Sorry about the delay, folks, but finally, they will ALL be sent out by the end of the week. I'll hopefully put some photos up by then too. I really hope you like them. Anyone thinking of buying one, now is a very good time, as it'll help towards the new PC fund! Find them HERE.
And, even more lastly, I haven't been able to scan anything so I'm posting one of my favourite drawings from the last few years of blogging.
Thanks again, for the messages of support. Missing you all. Apologies if this post sounds a bit nuts. I'm up against the clock. One hour of library computer is just about up.

NOT OK COMPUTER
My trusty little lovely laptop has gotten very unwell. I don't know whether it'll make it. I have no other access to the internet at home (I'm in the library). I'm very sad. And I have no idea what Ill do if it cannot be fixed, because I cannot afford another. Anyway, fingers crossed. I'm off to cry. Speak soon.

lead me to your door
So, for everybody who has pre-ordered Molezine No.2 some news. I had hoped that they would be on their way to you by now, but no. There has been a delay, I'm afraid. I won't bore you with the details but please know that I am suitably ashamed of myself. New estimated time of postage is the end of next week.
As with Molezine No.1, I'll be entering all the names, of those who have ordered, into a hat to win a drawing. Funnily enough, this drawing. What a co-incidence. This isn't a great scan. The colours are a bit off. It does look better in real life!
The closing date to be entered into the draw will be the last weekend of May.
And, you can order Molezine 2 HERE.

no longer boyish
Here's a quickie. I did it quite some time ago. Probably, er, around the beginning of the year (yeah, the clue is in the drawing). It's another of those upside down portraits. Where you turn the portrait, you are copying from, upside down and draw it that way. As opposed to turning yourself upside down. That would be silly.
I copied from the cover of Rufus Wainwright's Poses album cover. Again, all the clues are all in the drawing.
I think he looks a bit girlie in it. And a bit younger. But I'm sure he wouldn't mind.

everyday i get in the queue
So, if you caught the last post you might just have spotted this drawing. I have drawn this little tin bus in the past. Twice, in fact. In some ways I think it might have been more successful back then. The colours worked better, I think. But, I wanted to draw it in my Moleskine. My travel Moleskine. So I drew it all over again.
Crazy. I know.
Crazy. I know.
