blowing off the dust

Right then, back to business.

A bit of a crappy drawing to come back with, I'll admit, but this is my commitment to a week of posting. A new post every single day. Although, I know that when I make that kind of statement the pressure gets too much for me. Perhaps I shouldn't mention it. No, I won't say a word. If you want to see new drawings, every day for a week, then you won't find them here.

Well, I don't know, I rather like it. And I think making a commitment to posting is a good idea. It's been a LONG time since I've posted, and that's because I haven't done anything, and I don't like that. I'm not going to promise a post every day, but I'd like to post several times a week. I look forward to seeing what you come up with.

I like this picture of the pens! I have thought about making myself do a similar thing with my blog. I may even do the same making myself draw something every day! we shall see how it goes. :)

"What pen do you use?" is a weird form of a compliment, but a compliment nonetheless. It means I love your art and I wish I could do the same. I would also like to buy the Andrea Joseph pen, together with the Norman Rockwell brush. It's a lot easier than all that practice.

Well, it wasn't easy, but I twisted my neck and read the writing. "What pen do I use?"
Ha! Mostly, a cheap ball point with a cushion grip. It's waterproof and that's the important part, in case I want to slosh some paint on.And I also like the Artline ultra-fine fibre tip.Oh, and Uniball micro.
Sometimes, just a twig and ink.

Crappy? Are you serious? This is a great sketch and I love the way you've put the text around the pens. Can't wait to see more!

Definitely NOT crappy, Andrea, I love it...pens, samples of their writing, beautifully done, what's not to like?

If this is a crappy drawing, then pigs must fly (or some other statement of total impossibility.) It's another winner. And you've been sorely missed!
