back to the garden

Now that I'm getting back into the swing of things I also want to get back to updating my children's book on a blog too. Unfortunately that's one of those things that gets pushed down the old priority list when time is short. That's OK though. I've been living with this book for the best part of two decades, so it's not like I'm in any rush to get it finished. And, anyway, I kind of like it that way. It's having plenty of time to simmer whilst waiting for the right publishing deal to come along.

So, if you want an explanation for the rather strange drawing above then you'll have to tootle on over there. Enter the weird and, frankly, worrying world that's in my head by clicking HERE.

i can't wait for your children's book to finally fully bloom. your drawings and story are absolutely enchanting!

i ran across your notecards from MOO just the other day, and was delighted all over again ;)

and, i gave your first 2 molezines to a friend this week, as part of her birthday gift, and she was completely amazed when i explained how you create your drawings. she and another friend just ooh'd and ah'd over them. so much fun to share your talent with my friends! and i can't wait for the next zine ;)

Bloody brilliant as usual. As well as being a blummin top artist you have an incredible imagination too - what an amazing combination :-)

I just wanted to say that I found your blog friday night...and spent the entire weekend reading your ENTIRE blog. Ok, there are still a few months in 2007 I haven't read yet :) I have literally laughed out loud many times, snickered at your british talk, and stared in awe at your drawings. I am just trying to teach myself how to draw, and you blow me away. I am a fan for life!

Thank you all, so much folkies.

Mo, that makes me feel very happy.

Dawn, I'm so touched. I remember finding Suzanne's and Danny's and France's (to name but a few) blogs and spending hours pouring over them. So it's so nice to hear somebody has felt the same way about mine.

Thank you all.
You make my day.
