EDM#24 draw some fruit

Well, I'm not too sure how I feel about this so I'll just post it before I change my mind. It certainly isn't how I envisaged it when I began, but hey, I guess that's what happens when you get lost in a drawing!

I'm charmed by it, especially the spots.

Now this is different! So much texture and great shape. What did you use?

Oh gosh Andrea, is this pencil? I love the shape of this pear -- it's almost human, leaning a bit to the side. And i do love the spots too!
Hooray for getting lost in a drawing.

Cheers guys!
I'm still not sure about this but it's too late now! It's all ballpoint, nothing else at all.
Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving holiday. Love, Andrea.

Oh goodness, it's pen.
You mentioned something on Suzanne's blog with resonated (again) in me -- how meditative drawing can be. "Getting lost" or losing track of time, or forgetting to eat -- all these things happen when we get so absorbed in a drawing. It's such a unique, peaceful, stress-relieving experience. Looking at the execution of your drawings, i can totally see them having that effect. In turn, they encourage me to go ahead and take my time for a new one.
Good stuff, Andrea.

Well, thank you both! Jana it's funny you should say that about it being hypnotic because sometimes that's exactly how I feel when I get into a drawing. Cheers!
