don't look at my shadow

Now be honest, are you laughing at the cat paw? It's a bit rubbish, isn't it? Did you even know it was a cat paw? I actually drew around the actual paw. Which, as you can imagine, the cat was thrilled about. I nearly lost an eye for this drawing. And you're laughing. Thanks a lot.

I'm looking at your shadows!! There, you can't tell me how to look at your art.

I love it - Cat paw and all.

I'm laughing, but only because I have occasionally been on the receiving end of cat paw versus eye. This is a feast for cat.

I have no pets but sometimes you make me think about having a cat but a teenager at home is enough thrill.

My cat used to help me sort my stuff out, always made it easier with laughter. She would only have to hear the rustle of pattern tissue to appear. Good memories.

Cats just go mad for this sort of stuff - it must have been so hard for you!! Super drawing, even the paw! ;)

I did know it was a cat's paw, but I was paying more attention to the draftsmanship.

Great work. But I would recommend trying to eliminate the page crease in the center via PhotoShop or some such thing.

I wasn't laughing - now I am. You're brave, trying to draw that kind of things that obviously belong to the cat. The cat was nice, to let you draw that long. Love your drawing, by the way!

I love everything about it. My fave, besides Flo's paw, is the twine ... the one with little straggler pieces coming off it. It is totally BRILLIANT!

The cat paw makes this drawing for me. Especially knowing that you drew around a real one!

Thank you all, folks.

This started as a tape measure on the page. It stayed like that for months. I finally decided to finish it. Don't know how I feel about it, it turned out to be a surprise for me. I'd never have dreamt that I'd be drawing around a cats paw, but there you go. I have just two pages left now. It'll be the first time I have EVER finished a sketchbook. Ever.

Cheers, folks.

I love that tape you have crawling all over the drawing. I don't even want to know how you did it...I'll just admire it!

Ha! My cat took a swipe at my calf today when I forced him to go outside. Apparently it was a bit chillier than he preferred. They just don't like to be messed with, even for the sake of art!Lovely work, as always.
