A bit of kitchen kitsch. I've just noticed that this is my 250th post. That seems amazing to me. All those drawings I've drawn, all that rubbish I've written and all the fine folk I've met. Thanks for all the visits and encouragement.
They've been revamping the site over at Moo. I don't like to blow my own trumpet, but when I saw my work on there, looking so good, I felt quite proud. It's mad to think of how this adventure all started, all those posts ago. I'm excited to see where else it'll take me.
Check out Moos revamp HERE (the stickers are cute TOO).

Well, it's not "rubbish" to us readers! Congratulations, Andrea!
Your work looks awesome on your Moo cards!!
I just had a set of 10 made to see what cropped well. A few of mine work, but the cropping is hard for me to work with. We'll see.
Wow, your stuff looks awesome on the Moo cards. Congratulations.
Your stuff looks great on the MOO site! I'm so pleased you're happy with the way it looks. Speaking as a MOO person, finding a proper way to display the images in a pack was something we'd wanted to do for ages.
I actually worked with your images alot as i was laying out the pages, as they're so nice to look at!
(My favourites: the tapes, both button pictures, and the lacey knickers :)
eek! I'm rude - sorry, i was so pleased you were pleased, I forgot to say congratulations on 250 posts!
Wow, 250 posts, Andrea! And each one a winner...congratulations!
Andrea, I just love your stuff. You inspire me to be a more careful artist. I would love to see you draw someday, but there's an ocean and a contentment between us. So, alas, I'll visit vicariously through your blog. Your probably wouldn't want me around anyway, I make a terrible house guest.
That's a great collection - well done! Congratulations on all your posts.
andrea,
your drawings look so beautiful on moo cards. I hope I can do the same one day.
I am always curious about what paper you use for colored pencil drawing?
250 POSTS!!! Oh my GOSH! That is amazing...a big congrats to you Andrea...Keep waving the light at the end of the tunnel for the rest of us...You art brightens the hearts of all who see it! :)
I checked out the Moo site and your pictures look fabulous and congratulations!
Wow! Your Moos look so cool!
congrats on your 250th post, and i have to tell you your work is gorgeous!!! what kind of pen and ink do use? beautiful!
I love your work here on this blog, and your moleskine project is really cool too -- i enjoyed looking at everybody's project.
You weren't perchance watching last night's programme about "Dark Side of the Moon" ...? As someone who has long since resigned herself to being uninspired when it comes to titles for blog posts (and now uses the first thing that comes into her head, however naff), I really relish yours!
Your work is showcased fabulously on the revamped Moo site - just as it deserves.
Happy quarter millenia!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks, folks.
Denise, you did such a grat job. The new layout looks great. In fact, I've just ordered a couple of packs. Cheers.
Anaislee, I use a heavy weight cartridge paper. I'm not to fussy about which brand, it just needs to be heavy weight to take all the hatching I throw at it.
Mitzi, it's a Pilot G-tec fineliner.
EJ, that's exactly what I was watching! I'm impressed. Hehehe. I watched (well, listened to)the whole Pink Floyd night whilst drawing this.
Cheers everybody for all the kind words and well wishes. I appreciate them all.
Yay for the kitchen utensils.
I'm off to drool over your Moo stuff. I have to say, the card i have sitting up on my desk (which you sent the other day) is knocking my socks off every time i see it.
Happy 250th!
Your Moo page looks wonderful. I love this collection of kitchen gadgets. It looks like it's raining kitchen goodies. I was so glad to read your post about your collections of boxes of red thingees and blue thingees, etc. What a good idea to have boxes of drawing inventory saved up to work from. Your style is so you and so unique. Having always loved pictures of collections of things your work really brings me joy. You've inspired me to start a nicely organized collection of thingees in boxes too. I have a whole closet full of glassware I've collected for painting but that's about it.
First of all I love the title! It is so clever and of course, the art itself is awesome!
Thank you my lovely friends.
Jana, I can't wait to see your collections. The probelm I have is these collections start growing and breeding and you end up getting cross collections. Should you put the little Scottie dog button in the novelty button collection, the brown collection or the tiny little animal collection? Welcome to my world!
Cheers.
