I had been saving this for a rainy day. Well, it's been a rainy week. The thing, I find, with doing such labour intensive drawings is that you end up feeling totally wiped out when you've completed one. That's how I feel right now. So, I'm going to take a little break from drawing. Maybe just a week or two.
Anyway, I'll leave you with this. I posted the colour version a little while back. I, predictably, prefer this version.

Excellent work... Can't wait to see more after your well deserved break.
Have a good rest :)
What a tag collection - I used to collect them too, until it all got a bit too much and I got rid of them all at one go - cold turkey!
I can certainly understand how these wipe you out. Gosh, there is so much wonderful detail!!!!!!! A beauty.
Your drawings are awesome! I keep checking to see what you've drawn next.
Wow, Andrea, another beautiful drawing. The detail you put into your drawings is just amazing. No wonder you are wiped out.
Enjoy your break.
Beautiful, as usual. Have a lovely break x
...and thank you for your comments on my blog :o)
diolch yn fawr! And, given that my Welsh is incredibly rusty, I hope you understand! If not: thanks very much!
Dinahmow, I'm impressed. Exactly right.
Mithi, how could you? You could have sent them to me! Hehe.
I must say I'm finding it very difficult - not to draw. I just keep seeing drawing opportunites everywhere I look. We'll see how long it lasts.
Thank you, you guys.
wow.. you shop alot! :-)
abso-fricken-lutely amazing drawing. i've been otherwise occupied recently and came to check out your drawings that i've been missing - gorgeous as ever
excellent stuff, as per usual. Sorry to hear about the rain. (you need to remind me, 'rain', that's the water coming out of the sky thing, isn' it? it's been so long...)
Thank you, Tracy.
Yeah, Pete, you miss it really though, don't you? Go on, go on, go on. You know you do.
Your blog and your drawings are amazing! Could I link to your blog from mine? :)
Great one. Works really well as an abstract image as well as a detailed figurative piece. Do you do abstract?
Enjoy your break. I received the moo cards today and I'm in love with them. I hope you'll post a notice here when/if you update more images there.
You have the patience of a saint! This is just amazing — as is all your work!
Your drawings ALWAYS brighten my day - thank you!
Absolutely beautiful and so unique. Please do not stay away too long!
Gosh, your capacity to draw yarn, thread, anything that can tie... always stuns me.
Another box of treasures.
'gonna chase the clouds away...
Thank you, chaps.
Jenifleur, of course.
Eric, no, not really.
Melissa, I keep meaning to get onto that. Mabye delete some images, and add some new. Thank you, too. I'm touched.
Karen, Martha, Kate, France, thank you all for your lovely words.
