I love your buttons! You must have such patience! Thanks again for your comment (answered on my blog) it made me laugh! I think of you now whenever I see James on the telly!
wow. i just love these - and you can just look at it, and each little piece, for a long time - individual buttons and then the whole and its just fascinating and then you get the wonderful little payoff of the two sweet little heart buttons :-)
Thank you Andrea for being so kind as to visit my blog too. This doodling thing is definately a sideline. I'm not sure that I could ever dream to support my family with it.
It's almost too hard for me to believe that you've had a late entry into the artistic world, because (again) I really do love your work.
This particular one reminds me of a collect of buttons that my mother-in-law use to keep and that my middle daughter would play make believe with - she stilll has quite an imagination. Her name is Andrea too. The one that made Homecoming Queen - from an earlier post.
No, I did join the EDM group. I wasn't sure what the letters stood for at the top of your posts. I haven't joined any groups, I'm not sure that it would give me any advantage. I get enough odd request - like the one from my brother - to keep me challenge. I've have a long list of request that I am working through at the moment now.
Sorry for the long comment. I've saved your page in my bookmarks. Again, I don't do that for many blogs - but your style really catches my eye and I would like to draw more like you.
Phenomenal!
ReplyDeleteThese button just knock my socks off. STUNNING!
ReplyDeleteso beautiful! I love your desire to attack the mundane, and make it so meticulous and important. It's a great lesson in life, I think!
ReplyDeleteButtons ... connecting jewels that we can't live without ... like sisters. :)

ReplyDeleteTracy, thanks for the observation. That's exactly what I was trying to achieve with this piece.
Cheers everyone, your comments mean the world to me.
Nothing is ordinary when you draw it. And the great thing is that you don't need color and yet everything is so colorful.
