Phew. Perhaps my longest drawing ever. I got lost in this baby for days. And so, when I look at it, how do I feel? A sense of pride, accomplishment, achievement? Well, no actually. All I see is that little bit of map that I well and truly messed up on - just above the Chopper drawing, behind the Passing Time card. Can't keep my eyes off it. Damn.
Anyway there is a theme going on amongst all the stuff and nonsense. I won't say anymore I think all the clues are on the board. I think. Do you know what it maybe?

Oh my, a puzzle first thing in the morning! All your drawing drawa m e in, but the theme here is leaving me scratching my head. A's, B,s and circles??
ReplyDeleteAndrea,
ReplyDeleteYour art work is so amazing, my only response ever is "WOW!" I don't know the theme either except for the combo of travel items and business information. An event followed by travel in the planning stages?

ReplyDeleteAmazing!! Looks like stubs and tickets from a vacation. Just amazing.
ReplyDeleteI haven't a clue, but that's okay, because these pieces are just so much fun, visually! I LOVE them!
ReplyDeletethanks for visiting my website. I usually track your new entries on the EDM superblog, so I rarely leave comments...I don't have the mind for puzzles most of the time that I'm surfing the web, so I just look in at your sketches in awe and can't imagine my sketches ever being that perfect!
ReplyDeleteSuper drawing, I thought before I read about it that it must have taken ages! No guesses though!
ReplyDeleteOK...here's my two penn'orth.
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, it took me a while to find the "bit of map." But, if it's from a London street map, could it be Marylebone (Station) spelled without the "e."?
And, since there are tickets from places in London and from places in the country, maybe a special celebration trip?
Or maybe I should slip away and have another coffe...
I'm feeling a little dumb this afternoon...no brain power left at the moment... HOWEVER, this doesn't keep me from absolutely drooling over this drawing. I'll check back when I'm feeling smarter and take a stab at the puzzle!
ReplyDeleteGreat drawing, so interesting and must be something to do with time. Maybe how you have spend your time over the last year or so, memories of places you have been. As a Horological ..measuring time....okay give in !

Oh, just for fun... I see a W and a bride and beauty card, trips and night out....might it be a wedding and honeymoon plan?
ReplyDeleteYOur drawings are awesome!

i love all these compositions you do. the chopper by Peter is my favorite piece of paper on the board. my brain is fried now though and i can't think of a theme to save my life, but i'll keep at it!
ReplyDeleteThank you all guys.
ReplyDeleteI deliberately didn't really give any clues out for this one because I thought I'd made the previous ones just too easy. But I think I may have gone to the other extreme with this one and made it too cryptic. So I think I may need to give a clue out which is - I am looking for a piece of music.
The music I am looking for does have a few themes running through it. Time, and the passing of time, is one theme Eileen. And London is defiantely strongly associated with this album, Dinahmow.
Thanks for visiting, guessing and all of your kind words. Cheers folks.
Think I will get lost for days as well just looking at all the wonderful things to see. LOVE the sketch of the sketch (bike). Awesome as always Andrea.
ReplyDeleteI'm awestruck by this wonderful drawing Andrea. I'm absolutely hopeless at drawing anything with text, even very large simple text. Such skill and patience!
ReplyDeleteWhat about Grease. Summer nights, Beauty school drop out, Frenchy, pink ladies . Grease lghtning, isn't there a line, it's electrifying, fuse wire. Theatre and film versions. If not , I really do give in. Eileen
ReplyDeleteI can see how you could get lost in it for days. I could get lost in it for days just looking at all the different details. It is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteOne of your best pieces, Andrea. Now i'm going to stare at it, scrutinize it, to try to figure it out...
ReplyDelete'cause right now i am totally at a loss.
So much detail! I am in awe!
ReplyDeleteI love your style! Your blog is wonderful!
ReplyDeleteI'm just going to sit right next to France and stare at it for ages ...
ReplyDeleteMe thinks I'll need at least three months to work this one out so I'm hoping you will have revealed the answer before then. hehehe I am just mesmorised by the detail. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks everybody. I'm glad that all the time I took on this paid off.
ReplyDeleteIt's an album I'm looking for. A British classic.
Cheers folks.
Is it Pink Floyd';s Dark Side of the Moon ?
