pinboard wizard

(Click on image to view) I was absolutely convinced that I had already drawn a pinboard. I'm still surprised that I haven't - I mean, it's so me! This, once again, was going to be a little 'light relief' in between drawing buttons. It's taken me about a week! ALL week. I really don't want to draw those buttons it seems.

It doesn't look like I'd pictured it in my head and the sizes of the objects are all out of proportion. But none of that matters because I really really loved drawing this subject. I'm going to give it another go too (I know) maybe with a little colour.

Lots of notes about this drawing on Flickr. Check it out HERE.

No wonder it took so long. Look at all those dots. Good job.

My first thought when I saw the picture was "This is so Andrea - I'm surprised she hasn't drawn one before!" Great work as always.

This is amazingly wonderful, Andrea. And looking at another person's bulletin board is like taking a peek at their life. Great job!

You have mentioned an interest in creating childrens' books. Have you thought about a book of your drawings of groupings of everyday items? They are just the sort of thing that children love to pore over for hours, especially if there are things to look for or figure out (as in your churchyard puzzle a few months ago). I think you'd have a surefire winner!

Dammit! I've been looking at my pinboard and wanting to do something like that for ages.
I think maybe I'll just leave it to the experts :S

Thanks everyone,

I really am happy with this one - and it's not often I say that! I just think it's really 'me'. Not sure what I mean by that exactly. I'm sure those of you who draw know though, when you feel a real connection to something you've created.

Cheers, I appreciate your comments and visits....LOTS!

You've inspired me on a whole new level. MY GOODNESS GRACIOUS. This is AWESOME.

But, I have to question the Wiggle's concert? :)

Thank you both,

Suzanne, I've seen the Wiggles twice!! Ha, I did have small children with me though. Actually I LOVED it more than the children! He he.

Cheers guys.

Amazing. If this was in a gallery it would need one of those leather seats in front of it so people could sit for hours and study it. A tour de force. xxx

This is fantastic!

Love the Klimt ... and the Petit Prince bookmark ... I misread that item on your shopping list as "coffin buds" ... would love to know where the E in the top left-hand corner came from and/or what it's doing there ...

Some may feel squeamish about eating it, but rabbit has a fan base that grows as cooks discover how easy they are to raise — and how good the meat tastes.
