catching rain

This is a memory drawing. I believe that I saw this sculpture about 20 something years ago. I believe that it's called 'Rain-catcher' but can't be sure. I don't know whether I got that from my memory or imagination. Sometimes they get muddled up...

I've had no time to draw over the last few days - that's why I've posted this doodley-thing. Some good news though; my 'Princess and the Pea' picture that was exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art Wales has sold. I found out today, the cheque is in the post, and I feel really chuffed!

Congrats on the sale, my friend! Amazing you should call this drawing a doodle. It is so well executed. I am having a hard time finding time to draw these days myself -- and have started to feel somewhat pressured to live up to the blog thing. have you ever felt that way yourself?
