fireside

This is the hearth in my living room. Just to the right of this picture stands the logburner from a previous post. This is the view from my archair. This is where I do all my drawing.

Wow. This is indeed gorgeous. You're lucky to have such a view. I'm a big advocate of candles and love how perfectly you've captured them. Nice.

I'd love to know what you think of my blog at http://denver.yourhub.com/~MusingsOfTabithaDial ...

Lovely sketch - Andrea - and thanks for the comment on my sketch at the V&A.

I'm also an armchair drawer who is still working on getting enough space on the table next to me for all the things I like to have to hand. Messy!

  4. Thank you guys. I can't say I like this sketch at all really - regretting posting now! I just find it a little dull - the original looked better. I am still having problems scanning pencil drawings. If anyone has any advice I'd be very grateful.

Let's hear it for armchair artists!! Is this a British thing?? Katherine the table by my chair is extremley overcrowded - with all the pencils, pens, cups of tea etc.

    Cheers all!

PS Tabitha, I had difficulty trying to get o to your blog (??)

It's so nice to see something from your environment. So you draw from your armchair? How cool.

    I love it.
    I also enjoy the incense.

  7. Thanks guys.

France, I want to do more stuff from my environment actually - I've quite a list of thigs I want to draw now! That's what blogging does to you, huh?

Clearmerk, I love the incense too. And actually I've just bought lots of packs today - from Japan! Don't think I've ever had Jaanese bamboo incense before but I'll go and try it out right now.

    Thank you both.
