I'm just rounding up the last couple of drawings for the next zine. I'm looking forward to getting a new one printed. It's been a long time.
The 'classified ads' drawings (see last post) are just about finished and I'll try to post them by the end of the week. So, if you've bought some advertising space come back to see your hand illustrated ads. In the meantime I leave you with this craziness. Who knows what I'm ranting on about in this drawing. It's very late at night, the time of night when you shouldn't really be allowed a pen and paper and a blog.

this is fabulous, andrea. i especially love how you've used layers, as usual, to evoke depth. love it, and can't wait for your latest zine. yeay!!
Amazing! I love how neat your cross-hatching is. Drawings that have such depth that you find new things in them each view. You've inspired me to make my friend her own zine! x
It was SO lovely to meet you on Saturday and see your sketchbook in the flesh (so to speak!). Thank you so much for my copy of zine no 1: I love it (especially the shoes page). We must get together to sketch again soon x
WOW. great stuff. after reading it all, looks like i am off to make a "PERZINE"
I LOVE this page Andrea. And the central question reminds me of a time a couple of years back when I had my students make zines and display them in the hall. My colleague Patrick overheard someone walk by and say 'what's a zine?' But rather than pronouncing 'zine' to sound like magazine, they pronounced it to rhyme with spine.
Ok, after this long comment, I'm realizing I probably am making no sense at all.
Ooooh I love those late night pen rants, the ones where you're actually just asleep but with your eyes open and then you wake up the next day, find your sketchbook, and end up asking yourself wtf does this even mean OR did I write/draw this.... I don't recall?! And the crazy thing was you were most definitely sober. Ah, I know it well. I think I might come up with an alter ego to take responsibility for all those incidences... Ha ha ha
UNREAL!! Keep 'em coming!! Just wonderful!
The layers of related yet unrelated make this really nice.
Wow I love all the detail. Really beautiful and cool.
Nice) Thanks.
Thank you, guys.
This one certainly was a midnight rant. Although, almost everything I do looks and sounds like that, I think. Including this comment!
So chuffed this drawing has inspired you to make that zine Amy!
Cheers!
aww I love this! I love that your sketches look like collages! Youve just gained a follower :)
wow, that really your drawing? how much detail! how much time it takes you to draw something like that? really impressive!!
