Although everything has been quiet around here lately I'm still busily beavering away at this one. So, I thought I'd share another stage of this mammoth drawing with you. So far I've been drawing all the bits and bobs in with colour ballpoints and fine liners. I still don't know how, or if, it'll come together as I rarely do a full-on colour drawing like this. I'm thinking it's nearly there. The final stages will be to get the whole drawing down in pen and then I'll add the final details and, hopefully, a little more 'atmosphere' (is that the right word?) with some soft pencils. That's the plan anyway.Then what I'd most like to do is get back to blogging. It's just that these days I have lots of things coming at me from every direction. Again, I'm not complaining. Exciting things are happening. It's just that I'm not getting the time to spend with you guys. And, I miss that.

This is beautiful, amazing, what can I say? On occasion I think of you, and inspired by How to Draw Like a Nut, and everything else you do, I do sketches with enormously busy cross-hatching, and they come out pretty darn good sometimes, quite cool to look at - but not like yours, not by a long shot.
I Just LOVE what you are doing and I admire your work....thanks for all the beautiful skteches :-)

Great stuff! Got your "Nut" publication just fine. I waited until we were at a coffee shop with some down time to savor it over a latte. Mmmm. Then my daughter asked to have a look. Keep it up. As for posting, I've been in the doldrums, too. Just now getting started again. It's too easy to make sketching a lower priority when there's things to do.
