Just some shells. Drawn in my travel Moleskine. That's it. Snail shells. Oh, and a letter written on a sea shell. Just that.

Shells, you say? Then you would defintely be very interested in Marcel the Shell with shoes on: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z8zOYl652P0&feature=youtube_gdata_player
love.
Geez louise....are you EVER on a roll?!?!?!? You're amazing.
we are quoting marcel the shell around our house (my daughter and her friends especially). Silly fun. Your sketchbook is inspiring. Thank you
Cheers, me dears.
Observe Closely, I love it!
I love your drawings! Are they done with ball point pen? I can't quite tell because some of the colors I've never seen in ball point before...like the Claret cork.
I love the writing/shell combo!
Amazing stuff! =)
Fantastic!
Thanks, guys.
Laurel, this one is done with a fine liner and a black ballpoint pen. The cork, and other sepia drawings, are not done with a ballpoint. They were made with a fineliner. It's a Pilot G-tec.
You'd be surprised the colours you can get in ballpoint, though (well you can here in the UK). I've got loads of different colours, including a browny onwe.
Cheers.
I love marcel the shell! and your drawings. You make shading look so easy with pens.
