Ooops. Apparently gold pencil does not look anything like it should when you scan it.I've had a kind of impromptu holiday that has involved a huge amount of walking. Walking in unsuitable shoes. It seems, I, without fail, always wear totally unsuitable shoes for every occasion. Over my weekend break this has included wearing the tiniest little ballet pumps, with an ever increasing hole in the sole, for eight hours around a theme park in the rain and a pair of mini kitten heels around a cobbled street village.
Ouch! I feel for your toes.

ReplyDeleteThese ballerinas do look awesome though. REALLY literally awesome. In fact, I had to click the picture and zoom in to check if the flours are drawn/crosshatched or not. If you had told me it's a collage with some flowery fabric I would have believed you without questioning. The flowers look like real embroidery. Wow.
Also: Many many thanks for your zines (and the lovely note inside)! I got them today and I just can't stop looking at them. You "hope I like them"?? That's one big fat understatement - I'm madly in love with them, really! <3 You are amazing!

ReplyDeleteGlad to hear that I'm not the only one who wears totally unsuitable footwear. Roadchick, how happy to hear about your epic fail. I once wore a pair of Chelsea boots to climb a Rocky mountain. It's so true. It was one of the worse days of my life.
And, it doesn't stop there. Irene, I too seem to wear the wrong outfits. Always too hot or cold.

I try to limit my inappropriate shoe-wearing, but that doesn't always happen. But I've never worn ballerinas to an amusement park. Actually I have very rarely ever been to an amusement park . . .
