My trusty little lovely laptop has gotten very unwell. I don't know whether it'll make it. I have no other access to the internet at home (I'm in the library). I'm very sad. And I have no idea what Ill do if it cannot be fixed, because I cannot afford another. Anyway, fingers crossed. I'm off to cry. Speak soon.
I feel your pain. A home without a computer is like no having windows.
ReplyDeleteI hope the little guy gets better soon.
oh no... take it to a computer repair place... my daughter's lap top started failing and they were able to fix it... someone might be able to help...
ReplyDeleteeee! hope it gets fixed!
ReplyDeleteOh No!! It is like being cut off from the world without a computer! I hope something works out. I'm sure you could sell some pictures and easily make enough to buy another laptop. Your work is awesome! :)
ReplyDeleteOh - I'm really sorry to hear that. Fingers crossed that it bounces back (and if it doesn't I use a netbook which are usually a LOT cheaper)
ReplyDeleteSo sorry...I so enjoy following your work, you are AWESOME! I agree with Crafty Mermaid - a netbook just might do you well!
ReplyDeleteI look forward to seeing more of your work - sending good, positive mojo your way!
Hey don't worry u'll always find some college geeks to fix it for you. And they might do it for free, too.
ReplyDeleteKeep the hopes high, always.
You will find a way, I am sure. And we'll be here on the other end of the wire.
ReplyDeletegood luck, i was able to get mine fixed awhile ago, not too expensive. we'll be looking forward to your return!
ReplyDeleteHey Andrea, sorry for your computer problems. A few weeks ago my computer broke down and it feels like losing a part of oneself.
ReplyDeleteAnyway this page made me think of you: http://www.challengebic.co.uk/gallery/
Oh, no! That is really a bummer, I totally feel for you.
ReplyDeleteI better hurry up and order a couple of your zines then, so that you can afford a new computer ;)
Good luck! I thought mine was dying but it just needed a good cleaning. I hope yours has something equally non-fatal and cheap to fix.
ReplyDeleteFingers crossed,
Carole.
My fingers are crossed for you!! Sending get-well-soon thoughts to your computer!!
ReplyDeleteOh, so sorry for you! I've spent the past week haunting my library while the fix-it man worked on this thing.
ReplyDeleteHope you can get it fixed,Andrea.
@ all Andrea's fans:
ReplyDeleteHas anyone heard anything from her via 'phone or anything ? I know she's been having a rough time of it - I sincerely hope good things start happening for her, she surely deserves a break !
It cheeses me off that we live in a world that someone so talented has to struggle so !
Good luck Andrea, we're all thinking of ya !
Fiona
Hope you're back online soon!
ReplyDeleteThank you all so much.
ReplyDeleteI am absolutely fine, no need to worry. It's just I'm having to use library computers for the odd hour here and there. Not sure how long this will last but, hey, looking on the bright side it gives me more time to draw.
Thanks for the kind words. I'm very touched. And, hopefully, I'll be back with you soon.
