it's so hard to wait

I know, I know.

Another week passes and I still haven't produced a drawing that I want to share. So today, once again, I found solace in a ballpoint pen and some Adidas trainers. Predictable but comforting.

  1. Wow, what a great drawing. You've gotten such great texture and subtle shading with your pen--wonderful technique and eye for your subject: you've elevated the humble trainer!

  3. This is not a shoe blog..this is not a shoe blog..I know she said this is not a shoe blog..but all I see are shoes.."Honey, where's the number of my therapist?!" (My god - did that get printed here? sorry..)

Ship your pile of rejects to me! I love this - by selecting part of the, uh, shoe, the focus is on all those wonderful lines, and it is very interesting. And, as always, so well done.
