I don't know what's going on with me, but I almost like the work I've been making recently. This, I think, is my all time favourite drawing. By me. Moi. AJ. That's it really. Hope you like it too.
Wonderful key collection! Really like how one is stacked on top of another :) It's really complex and deep, but yet interesting and you'd have the feeling that you'd want to look for the right one.
Excellent! And it's great to see you liking of a piece of yours. Everything has been wonderful and this is no exception. Funny how you keep outdoing yourself!
I like all your stuff. But I'm curious as to why this one in particular pleases you more than all the other great ones you have done. I haven't seen one I didn't like yet.
holy cow!! love this!!!! so glad you are finally seeing what we see :)
ReplyDeleteIt's a very intricate piece, lots of detail and attention, it's unbelievable... I can see why you're proud :)
ReplyDeleteBest regards,
Carolina
really lovely drawing, if I did something that good, I'd be very happy :)
ReplyDeletewow this is really good, I love it.
ReplyDeletePencil or pen & ink, Andrea? Regardless, it's very, very good.
ReplyDelete@MrCachet I'm guessing Pilot C4 Hi-Tec in Sepia.
ReplyDeleteFab drawing as always. I like how the keys kind of look like masquerade masks. Or is that just me?
Impressive!
ReplyDeleteloves it, i want to get this in my hands, to take a better look at it!

ReplyDeleteFab drawing.
ReplyDeleteI have to ask, what pen do you use for such detailed pics? Surely you haven't found a sepia ballpoint.
I have just discovered your work....it certainly is great. Can understand why your happy with this piece.
ReplyDeleteBy golly, I think you've done it!
ReplyDeleteGood for you Andrea!!!!! May this spectacular drawing streak continue for a long, long time.
ReplyDeleteExcellent! And it's great to see you liking of a piece of yours. Everything has been wonderful and this is no exception. Funny how you keep outdoing yourself!
ReplyDeleteWell one of those keys should open the door to the new world. :)
ReplyDeleteIt's very piece. You should like it!
I like this one too; it's warm and cozy and old and shiny and not so shiny and filled with the promises of things someday exposed, loosed, and free.
ReplyDeleteCheers, folks.
ReplyDeleteMrCachet, Rhomany is exactly right.
Sam Smith, see Rhomany's answer. Not found a sepia ballpoint yet.
I don't think I'm finished with this one yet. Might just add a little colour pencil.
Thank you all, folks. I truly appreciate your visits and comments. Cheers, my dears.

ReplyDeletelove it--beautiful drawing!I do not know why -- it reminds me of Halloween--maybe because of the mask association.
ReplyDeletehave just come across you and your drawings. I am blown away, really. I also feel terribly jealous. :) You draw like I try to. Fantastic.
ReplyDeleteReally like this, so interesting. It reminds me of a sardine tin with lots of little fishes. It is very Andrea Joseph at her best, doing collections.
ReplyDeleteA really fine piece.
