I'm happy with this one. I hope you like it, too. You have to click on this drawing to view it. Stick your beaks right in and have a proper rummage around.
You are keeping me from painting! I thought I would comment here as well! I look at the subjects you draw and wonder where you will go next and you have the amazing ability to constantly suprise - I love your work - makes me smile :-)
OOOO - you said you were drawing Pixie boots! Love them all; difficult to choose a fave - maybe the button down. Am hoping for a platform pair to be developed for short fairies ;-)
Amusing and beautiful, a winning combination. How long does a piece like this take you to draw? I work in pen and ink (dip pen) and each drawing takes me forever. The boots and the bonnets make me think of the paper dolls I loved as a child.
Andrea, I have been following your sketching blog for about 6 months. You blow me away with your creativity and ingenuity! I never know where you are going next. I love not knowing and being surprised and delighted. I appreciate you and your work.
love the 'tree hugger' and the 'cat in a hat' - wonderful! Maybe you should try a photo if you can't get a good enough scan? Wonderful, funny and charming work as ever! Thank you for sharing it :)
Wow! I've only just found out about your blog through Twitter and haven't got time to tell you how wonderful it is - I'm off to revel in some more. Absolutely fantastic!

ReplyDeleteThey are all beautiful, but I believe the Treetop Flyer may be my favourite - I love the woodgrain and I'd quite like a pair myself, thank you!

OMG! everything U create is great!, I admire your work... and my fav. pixi boots are the last ones XD!
ReplyDeleteWhat fun. Your attention to detail is always drool-worthy. (I like the Tree Hugger and the curly-toed Cat in the Sack ones. :-)
ReplyDeleteIf I had drawn just ONE of those I'd be in awe of myself. To have so many in such a wonderful composition is an incredible accomplishment.
