A good bra is hard to find. That's almost and art itself, but to make and art out of the bra, I can only call it bold original ... crazy . I love it :-)
I'm still laughing at the previous comment! Always good to have plenty of support! A wonderful sketch, not much left in your smalls drawer we haven't seen, won't be pinching that idea and sharing mine!
I tell you what, I've not got good bread this week and I intend to fix that this very evening, snow or no snow. I got this rubbish stuff from Morrisons that shrinks over time. The slices start out like normal slices but after a few days they're like doll's house bread.
Love the drawing! It captures the way they hang over stuff perfectly. I still have no idea how you make such smooth textures.
I think this sounds like a challenge. Everyone get your smalls out! I know I've done it often enough. I shall write to Karen Winters and suggest it as the next Everyday matters challenge.
Cheers, folks, I'm not telling what size it is. Not very big though. With padding. Thank ya.
FANTASTIC!!!!!!!! Stunning. You make me want to run out a buy one just like it right now....hmmm, maybe I will :)
Ha...my verification word is "woodi"....I don't know if you use this slang word in the UK...but its quite appropriate given the content of your drawing.
how very fitting. (seriously no pun) the bra, i take to be a metaphor for woman. and at the moment, they are getting me down, and you are right, it isnt something i should... gah, i left this for too long and have now lost my train of thought, nice one though
Wow! This is BRILLIANT! That lace detail is fantastic. A good bra is a necessity - did you know that 75% of women are wearing the wrong size? Great drawing. I like the angle you chose. You're always amazing me.
I agree with everyone, you make the mundane ART. Good job. I don't see the mess you say you made. I've never heard of "undies" called "smalls" before. Same english, different dialects - makes life interesting.

It works for me Andrea, extra bit or no. You have a way of making everything compelling.

Love it Andrea. How can you argue with a good bra?
Love the drawing, interesting subject, never thought of drawing these or any other underwear by themselves... continue to inspire us!
Andrea, you take evryday items and breath life into them. Great drawing.

Well, honestly, I can't see what is wrong with it. Beautiful and inspiring as always, and again, something I would not have thought of drawing ...
And thanks to you I am timidly and very excitedly venturing into ballpoint art as well ~ you are truly an inspiration, Andrea!

Your friend is really a wise man!

Steve - that's good news!
This is a wonderful drawing, Andrea! I wish my drawings were 'messed up' like yours!
Here here! Let us all praise good foundations! As always, wonderful rendering, revealing the beautiful hidden in the mundane.
beautiful Andrea!! love how illustrate the highlights & shadow.
Amazing, as always! I can't get over what you can do with a ballpoint pen--blows my mind!! :)
Male equilavant: A good pair of clean underware.
Nice work.
I don't know anyone else who can a) draw underwear like this and b) make it funny. Keep 'em coming, please.
OH MY GOSH ANDREA! You are such a HOOT. I never know what to expect from you other than the most unusual usual stuff. lol
I agree with Sherry - I wish I could mess up like that! BTW - you never mentioned: what size is the bra? lol
you are right. Great drawing:-)
Thanks, guys.
Miguel, he's a very wise and talented man!

Ha—this is the best. I love it. You make the ordinary sublime.

Oh, I so agree. I think we should get a team of women designers together to creat the perfect bra ( whatever your size!)
Your drawing works for me too.

I agree with the sentiment - hard to find, and you Nailed this one as always ;-)
Oh Andrea, this does look like a good bra, first of all.
Fabulous drawing. I am off to stare at its large version on Flickr.
Nice bra! And great drawing, the texture looks very real!
That is funny, yet serious, I like it. It puts the funny side into drawing, and you haven't ruined it.
