This is the final page of my first ever Moleskine (the sepia one) finished. This drawing felt like going over old ground and was a real struggle. But, no surprises there. I'd put a few circles on the page a long time ago, and then left it at that. So, I was forced into continuing the badge theme. I always knew that the final page was going to be a real battle. I have issues with ending things.
Only one of these badges is a real actual badge from my actual badge collection. The rest are from my imaginary badge collection.
I have one more page of this Moleskine to share with you, and then I'm hoping to do a little something to celebrate fnishing it. More on that in the not too distant future.
Wowzer...what a spectacular finish. Beautiful. The light gradation is incredible.
ReplyDeleteBTW, I just read a comment you left over at Wagonized about the possibility of comments seeming insincere because they are given so often. I just want to say "ditto" here. I feel the same way.
I took the whole tour. Blog - Flicker - Slideshow, and I've done your Esty to boot. What else have you got to offer. The buttons are still my favorite on the Moley thing. (And I'm being sincere here.) AND, oh yes... "green" pin -- well, I'm honored. You shouldn't have.
ReplyDeleteDamn you! I sooo love what you do! I'm so impressed and can't express it in words.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to go out and buy a bloody big dictionary as big as a bloody big - er ... telephone directory, look up the biggest word that means 'good' and post it on your website. But then you will do something better and I'll be lost for words again. So, keep bringing it on, you make my day :-)
super-eminent!
ReplyDeleteLove it! It's great to see your work, all of it, but it's cool with the buttons. Which one is the one you really own? I like the LOVE button mucho!
ReplyDeletePeace & Love,
~Barb~
Of course this ending is also new beginning. :)
ReplyDeleteThat's the most spectacular Moley I've ever seen. Congratulations on finishing and doing such wonderful work. And thank you for letting us see it.
ReplyDeleteI can't begin to think how long it took you too do all of the sepia background. It has such a depth of colour. The badges to me look as if some stand out proud, the 'misfit' one looks 3D like an m&m and the 'soul' badge looks as if it's sinking in - properly pinned.
ReplyDeleteWOW! love the whole bk! I like the use of color in this one.
ReplyDeleteCheers, guys. You really make my day. Really you do.
ReplyDeleteBarb, Misfit. The real badge. Not you!
Owen, absolutely. Can't wait.
Thank you, thank you, thank you.
It's so neat! You really have a unique style!
ReplyDeleteI've been looking at this off and on all day. I love the color so much. I try so hard to copy your style. would love to watch you work.
