ever been here before?

Here's another little quiz. I've been listening to a particular album all week and this drawing, unintentionally (at first), became a tribute to that piece of work. I have absolutely no idea whether it is possible for you to figure out which album it is, but I'd love to know. Obviously, you'd need to be familiar with this record too. Every piece on the pinboard is related, or inspired, by it - but that may only be obvious to me. Perhaps you can work it out, perhaps not. It may be too cryptic, but I'd love to know either way. It makes me wonder.

**The album that inspired this drawing was, indeed, Deja Vu by Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young. I have now added notes to this drawing on Flickr to explain some of the clues. Check it out HERE. I have a feeling this was pretty easy as Jason got it about 2 minutes after I posted the drawing! The next one I'll make more difficult.**

Maybe Dylan - Bringing It All Back Home? Joni... Hissing Of Summer Lawns? Neil Young? ... hmmm. I think you've stumped me. I don't mind, it's a great excuse to look at every little nook and cranny of this AMAZING drawing.

"Our house is a very, very fine house. With two cats in the yard, life used to be so hard. Now everything is easy 'cause of you" :)

I probably wouldn't know but I do see the 'I love NY' so that might be a clue.

It is a wonderful drawing! Now I have to come back and see what it means :)

Good to see you here again.

Led Zep -- just because of the title of the post, which seems to be straight out of Stairway To Heaven -- but now that i read about CSN&Y, i have to take another look... :-)

Cheers folks.

This really must have been WAY to easy - as Jason got it on the first guess. It is indeed Deja Vu by CSNY. I'll add some notes on Flickr in a mo. And next time I'll make it more difficult!

(All of their intials have been planted in the drawing, along with mine.)

Thank you for having a go guys.

It's a great piece! Very atmospheric. I would never have guessed. I'm so bad at these things.

It is a quiz in your drawing, a very good idea.
It must read and there must be a solved content.
And, I want also to make it.

I checked in 'way too late to play, but as the drawing loaded, I started singing "Our house is a ,very, very fine house..." And that's prbably the only song I know!
But I do have 2 (new ) cats so maybe it was subliminal.
Great picture! And quiz! Thanks!

i'm a little late to the party but i saw the 2 cats and figured it was a CSN&Y (all 4 together - what a sound - always one of my favorites- just brings me back.)
