Oh wow! Great sign, beautiful lettering. I've got a heavy soul too (mine's literal, though).
Again, it comes out a little better in Flickr -- but heck, i thought i would come by your blog :-)

Wow Andrea...your cross hatching is just stunning. Many of my students ask me about how to do this- from now own I'm just going to point them in your direction.

Thanks guys,

I think this is probably quite a self indulgent drawing (not that I think there's anything wrong with being self indulgent) and is actually one of my most favourite things I've ever done! Strange eh?

France I too have a heavy soul (literally) and it's a joy to own when I'm drawing and creating these pieces. However, in reality it can be difficult to live with. Is it what makes us the artists we are? Hmmmm, I think about that a lot.

Cheers.

Great lettering and an interesting concept. Does having a heavy soul keep you grounded? Mine's pretty lightweight I think, more head in the clouds than on the ground.

Fantastic entry!
Can I ask what pen you use. I see it says sepia ink, I love sepia too. The pen I have appears to be alot darker than yours.

Jana - I sometimes feel like this heavy soul weighs me down, if you know what I mean?!

Anita - thispen is a Pilot g-tec. The colour actually looks a lot different here (scanned) as it does on the paper.

Thank you both for visiting and commenting.
