I have officially been addicted to Flickr for 5 months. I can get lost on there for hours. It's such a quick way to skip from gallery to gallery and see the wonderful work on show. This is a little piece of promotional work that I did for Queila, one of my Flickr contacts. You can see her work here. It's cute!
That is one lucky friend! This is precious!! And Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThis is terrific! I love your gradation of color. I also love Queila's work. I can see how her work must have inspired yours.
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeus! Great design and color, and I love that fish tag.
ReplyDeleteOn Suzanne's blog you said:
ReplyDelete"Well I have no idea what skunk smells like but I'm curious now! I have never heard of anyone who actually likes the smell though."
Close up, like if your pet dog gets sprayed, skunk is something you never, ever, EVER want to experience. It's such a strong smell it'll knock you right over, and you'll never get it out of your couch, draperies, etc. You might as well just sell your house and move on.
At a distance, wafting faintly on a country breeze, skunk smells a bit like freshly roasted coffee beans.
Wonderful! I'm always amazed at how many different ways there are to draw the shape of a cat and this is one is unique!
ReplyDeleteWow, that's just to cute. Very well done!
ReplyDeleteThanks guys.
ReplyDeleteFelicity - I agree and part of the reason for me doing this challenge was that I really want to explore the feline shape. I draw my cat quite a bit but just little rough sketches. I now want to try to add some character to my cat drawings.
I have a drawing in mind that needs lots of cats, lots and lots of cats!
Cheers everyone!
you're so right about the addiction to Flickr I am definitely catching it too! This is so lovely ... and I love the handwriting too. And yes, more cats!!!
