Some time ago, seven months ago in fact, I made this map for the Derbyshire Open Arts exhibition.
A little while later this phone box, above, arrived in the town of Whaley Bridge.
The guys who were responsible (Whaley4Wards) for bringing the new old telephone box to town saw my map.
And tracked me down.
And this was the result.
The telephone box became an information box
and I made a new map for it.
The only problem I have, though,
is that there were lots of photos taken
and I'm spoilt for choice
and want to post them all
but I'll leave you with the best...
Photography by Chris Tetley.
That is so cool! Congratulations!

Wow!! Doctor Who step aside - you have a whole world in that box! Fabulous!
ReplyDeleteHi all-Chris Tetley and I mounted it on the box Christmas Eve and he took the great photos. It was moderately stressful drilling holes in it on my dining room table. We think it looks great we first took it to Pear Tree café on Canal Street to give them a sneak preview as some more of Andrea's work is there.
