A big thanks, guys, for the response to my last post. It's been a difficult couple of weeks - which I will blog about, shortly. I've been struggling with desperately wanting to draw but not being able to pick up a pen. I'm not sure that I'm out of the drawing funk wilderness quite yet but earlier in the week I sat down with my sketchbook to put something down on paper. I wanted to draw something without thinking too much. Something from deep down. And this is what happened! Actually, I don' think it's anywhere near finished yet but I just wanted to post something.
You may know that I have many sketchbooks on the go at one time. At a rough guess, I reckon I currently have about ten that I dip in and out of. And, I theme them. Yes, yes, I know it's sad. For this drawing I reached for a Moleskine sketchbook that holds the idea for a graphic novel I'm working on. I think it's an amazing idea. My next step is to find a publisher who feels the same. So, if you should know of any publishers just waiting for a graphic novel crammed with obsessively detailed drawings, as well as joy, pain, beauty, rage, sadness, courage and love then please send them THIS LINK. Ta!

That is a wonderful sketch - it reminds me that sometimes we are captive inside a glass house watching the world (maybe) but not really participating. It may not be what you were thinking - but that's what is evokes in me.
Fantastic!!!! *__________*
I adore your blog^^
Well, I hope someone picks up your idea, Andrea.
S'pose it's getting cold up your way, yes? Blistering sun down here!
if i did, i would CERTAINLY send you their way. sorry, i have 0 contacts ;(
Finally making a comment after months of lurking. A beautiful, sad drawing. Unfortunately I don’t know any publishers, but I hope you find one. I tend to find the depths more interesting than the heights....
Good luck, and keep drawing.
Andrea this is quite good.
Hey 'I do not know you from Adam' for want of a better phrase. Yet I am able to drop in on your world through your blog from time to time. Being creative and having a creative mind at times feels like a burden. It is impossible to do everything in life and juggle too many things. In fact my own juggling skills sometimes leave me looking at the floor which is covered in balls! Everyone has a lull in life, hope that you get to work through yours. Take care and keep sketching/drawing/illustrating its your gift!! and you are very inspiring.
