into tomorrow

I really wish I had some new work to post but right now it just ain't happening. I didn't intend posting a page of doodles but it's all I have to offer. I'll be away for some time, and I don't think I'll have access to a scanner. It's really disappointing to leave on this note, with these doodles.

I hope you all have a wonderful New Year. Thanks to everyone for the visits and comments. I appreciate each and everyone. I'll be back, in the new year, with a vengeance. Catch you later.

I see that everyone else is saying what I was going to say -- namely, that's a DOODLE???? Ohmygod, to get to that level, you're awesome!

Andrea- this is such a great doodle. At first, I didn't get how it could be called a doodle...but as I looked closer, I could see it. I was curious about how long you might spend creating a doodle of this sort?
Could you tell us? Or is it one of those things that you work on here and there and are oblivious to time? Anyway, it's an awesome doodle! Thanks for posting such inspirational drawings! Happy New Year!

Thank you folks.

Julie, yes, I did work on this bit by bit over a long (long) period of time. Just adding whatever was to hand. I have no idea where I was going with it when I started out but I'm sure it was not where it ended up! And, thanks for the kind words - you know, I'm a huge fan of yours.

Thank you everyone, and have a great creative new year. Cheers!

wow. i really love this sketch. its amazing as is the rest of you art. I find that sometimes my sketches are more powerful than finished works because you create them without inhabition.

great stuff!

Thank you both.

Yes Jacklyn, I agree. You're not thinking about the drawing too much - just doing.
