you own it now

I NEVER expected to post this. I was starting a drawing the other day and my hand was quite shaky. So I did a little 'warming up' exercise which turned into this drawing. I often feel the pressure to make my next drawing 'better' than the last. I know this is pressure that I put on myself. I also know that I love this drawing and that if I saw it on somebody else's blog I would be gushing about it. So I am going to post it. Now. Before I change my mind.

Andrea, this is awesome! I love your drawings because of the complex compositions. They are so well done, too. Every time I see one like this I keep marvelling at your patiendce. I doubt very much I could draw something as involved as this.
Love it!

Incredible, Andrea! My guess is those square ones are used to clean out the nib slit. You run it between the nib tines from the breather hole to the tip of the nib. That is my guess.

Cheers guys,

Ah, Brian is that what they are for? I did think it must have something to do with the cleaning process. Also they fit into the gaps in the drawing where I need something 'fat' as opposed to long and thin!

Thank you.
